How buying works, what the 10-minute timer means, the waitlist, and getting into the stadium.
Buying
How do I buy a ticket?
Open the match and tap Buy tickets.
Choose a ticket category (e.g. Regular or VIP), how many, and which stand.
Tap Continue. Your tickets and seats are now held for you for 10 minutes.
Check your seats, enter your name and email, and pay by M-Pesa or card.
Your tickets appear on screen straight away and are sent to you by email and SMS.
How many tickets can I buy?
Up to 4 tickets per match in one order.
It says “High demand right now”. What does that mean?
Only a limited number of fans can be checking out for the same match at once, so the site stays fast for everyone.
Places free up quickly as other fans finish paying — try again in a minute.
The 10-minute hold
Why is there a timer?
When you tap Continue, the tickets and seats you picked are taken off sale and held for you alone for
10 minutes. No one else can buy them during that time. The timer at the top of the page
shows how long you have left. It turns amber at 2 minutes and red in the last minute.
What happens when the timer runs out?
Your tickets are released straight away to the next fan in the queue. You are not charged.
We take you back to ticket selection with your choices already filled in, so you can try again in one tap
if tickets are still available.
I was paying when the timer hit zero. Do I lose my tickets?
No. As soon as an M-Pesa prompt or card payment starts, your hold is extended by about
2 minutes so you can finish entering your PIN. The timer shows “Waiting for your payment”
while we confirm it. You can’t start a new payment once a hold has fully expired, so you can’t pay
for tickets that have already gone to someone else.
Can I give my tickets back before the time is up?
Yes. Tap Cancel & choose again on the timer bar. Your tickets go to the next fan right away, and you go back to selection.
Can I get more time?
No. The hold is the same for everyone so tickets keep moving to fans who are ready to pay.
Have your M-Pesa phone or card ready before you tap Continue.
Stands & seats
Do I choose the stand or the ticket category first?
The ticket category first, then the stand. The price depends on the category; the stand is where you’ll sit
within it. Each category lists only the stands that sell it.
Can VIP and Regular seats be in the same stand?
Yes. A stand can sell more than one category. VIP and Regular seats in the same stand are in separate blocks
(the block code on your ticket shows which), so they never get mixed up.
How are seats picked? Can I change them?
We automatically pick the best available seats in your stand and keep your group together in one row where we can.
On the Your seats step, tap any free seat to move there. We swap out whichever of your seats is furthest away, so your group stays together.
You can also tap Change seats for a fresh set. Changing seats doesn’t reset the timer.
What do the “fans” and “Neutral” stand labels mean?
Some stands are set aside for each team’s supporters. Please sit with your own team’s fans. Stewards may move
you if you’re in the wrong section.
Waitlist
How does the waitlist work?
You can join a waitlist in two cases: a category that isn’t on sale yet, or one that’s
sold out for now but may still release tickets — everything left is held by fans who haven’t
paid yet. When tickets free up, because a sale opens or someone else’s hold runs out, they’re reserved for the
next fan in line, and we send that fan a link by SMS (and email, if you chose it).
Why can’t I join the waitlist for some matches?
A waitlist only makes sense if tickets can still reach you. When every ticket has been sold, sales have closed, or
the match has been played, no more will be released — so there’s no waitlist. If that happens while
you’re already waiting, we close the waitlist and let you know.
What happens when it’s my turn?
The tickets are already reserved in your name. Open the link and pay within 10 minutes, the same hold as everyone else.
What if I miss my turn?
If you don’t pay in time, the tickets go to the next fan. You stay on the waitlist, behind fans who haven’t missed a turn yet.
After 2 missed turns you’re taken off the waitlist, so one phone that isn’t answering can’t hold up everyone behind it.
You can join again at any time.
Can I leave the waitlist?
Yes. Use Leave waitlist on your waitlist page. If tickets were reserved for you, they go to the next fan straight away.
Payment
How do I pay?
By M-Pesa: we send a payment prompt to your phone, and you enter your PIN to confirm. Or by debit/credit card through our card
partner. We never see or store your PIN or card number.
I didn’t get the M-Pesa prompt.
Check that the number is correct and your phone is on and unlocked, then tap pay again. If it still doesn’t arrive, use
the Paybill details shown on the payment page, or pay by card.
I was charged but didn’t get tickets.
Stay on the page for a minute. Confirmation sometimes takes a moment, and your tickets appear automatically. If they still
don’t, contact us with your M-Pesa confirmation code (see below) and we’ll sort it out.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds follow the organizer’s policy. See our terms (section 4) for how to request one.
Your tickets
Where are my tickets?
They appear on screen as soon as payment is confirmed, and we send them to you by email and SMS. Each ticket has its own page
with your seat, gate, stand and a scannable code. You can save it to your phone or print it.
Can someone else use my ticket?
Each ticket admits one person, once. To hand a ticket over to someone else after buying it, contact us and we’ll transfer it
to the new holder, who gets an email to accept it.
Match day
What do I need to get in?
Your ticket’s code (on your phone or printed), and anything the organizer requires, such as an ID.
Go to the gate printed on your ticket. Each code can only be scanned once.
My ticket won’t scan.
Turn your screen brightness up, or ask a steward. They can look your ticket up by the code printed under the barcode.
