COCOA DREAMS

Cocoa Dreams is a family drama set in the humid sub-tropical climate of Muhoroni, Kenya, exploring the intersections of legacy, tradition, and the collision between ancestral tradition and global modernity. After the death of the family matriarch, Dani, her granddaughter Jaber, a high-achieving nuclear physicist returns from Europe to inherit and transform the family sugar farm into an experimental cocoa plantation. She must navigate the alcoholism of her mother, the elitist ambitions of her brother, and the patriarchal manipulations of her uncle to find her place in the soil of her ancestors.
